This talk is for the practitioner who is involved in supportive care
of cancer patients undergoing surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy
treatments. Rather than focusing only on scientific literature, this
talk is the distillation of many years of clinical experience,
principally with gynecological cancers. Ruth will outline her
treatments that focus on each of the primary treatments in turn with
appropriate and specific management plans that support cancer patients
through each stage of their journey. A case history of a terminally
ill Stage 3 ovarian cancer patient will be illustrative of this
supportive approach.
